Sorry another Virgin Reward Flight Question
I am a little confused so wanted to check if this was normal? So we are a family of 6 with a companion voucher.
I spoke to someone about a Inbound flight booking this morning, they have done it as 3 bookings? So me and 3 of my children as one. My husband using 1/2 the companion voucher on another and then my son (16) using the other half of the companion on another booking. So we are all on 3 different booking references? I was expecting us just to be on one ref so I could book seats together.

Sometimes the bookings have to split because the system can't handle revenue, reward bookings and putting two halves of a voucher on the same booking.

So having the 2 halves of the companion voucher on 2 separate booking references seems odd or correct?

I've never done it myself, but with the number of times my families bookings have been split for other reasons it doesn't surprise me.

They did the same with us, we are a family of 4 with a companion voucher but were all booked on separate booking references x

We are exactly the same, four people booked on two different booking references. I booked the seat by logging into my flying club account and then my daughters flying club account so that we are all seated together. They have assured me even though they are different booking references our booking are still linked on their side. I did have to ring to amend my flight date and only had to provide one booking reference so it seems true what they are saying.
