Victory Casino Cruise
Hi all,
I am hoping to do the casino night cruise next year. Has anyone done the casino cruise before? If so, what is the food like? Was the boat packed? Is it true that drinks are free? Thank you. |

Hi,
I live here and despite coming here on holiday 20+ times before I moved here I had never been on the Victory Casino Cruise until about 3 years ago. It is a really fun day! I actually went on it last week, the first time since all this craziness so I can give you a good overview The food is about as average as can be. It is far from a la carte do not expect much. We look at it as something to soak up the drink. An Uber from the airport area where we are based was $67 and was well worth it. You go through some airport like security to get on the boat where they clap you onboard. It's not the most raptuous round of applause I've ever received, but it has it's charm! We go on the day cruise which leaves port at 11am. Until you get in to international waters at about 11.35 you have to pay for drinks. They are reasonably priced and there is some live music on the deck. Once the casino opens and you head inside to the tables then all of your drinks are free. You don't actually have to be gambling, you do have to look like you might be gambling at some point. Also, I have found that if you tip the waitress $5 with your first drink, you will never be thirsty. The boat is not luxurious but it is fine, toilets are what you would expect on an all you can drink 5 hour boat tour. They have some very good safety measures in place, including halving the capacity, needing a face covering when inside and only allowing 4 people on a gaming table at any one time. We really enjoy it and go regularly. I see you are thinking of the night cruise? The reason we don't do the night one is I would not fancy getting back from the port at 2am. There are no taxis nearby and I have had Uber's refuse to drive to Orlando after the day cruise at 5pm, so I can't imagine it would be easy at 2am. Happy to answer any questions, it is a great day out, a real hidden gem
