I wondered if the Rivers of Light removal is also because they are expecting park hours to be shorter for a considerable time? And darkness doesn’t fall until late for some of the year?

Though I have to add I’ve never seen it I assume it needs to be dark!

I'm sad to see the loss of Primeval Whirl. It was one of our favourite rides at Animal Kingdom. I know it was really just a funfair ride but the Nimbus family really enjoyed it.

I'm also a bit sad that Rivers of Light is going but that's mainly due to the fact that I've never seen it. We were there just as it was originally due to open but then it got delayed by nearly a year due to technical issues. We've not been back since.

The loss of Stitch has long been on the cards. It's barely been open in the last 18 months. So no surprise there. My DD loves Stitch so she's a bit sad but I'm not to bothered.

I hope they do something with these areas though and don't just leave them abandoned for the next few years.

Completely agree. Reduction in park hours is another cost cutting move

River of Light was by far the worst experience in the park but at least it was good for keeping people out of the queues before closing.

Really disappointed - we never made it to see Rivers of Light last year, and were absolutely going to this year. I hope something equally good replaces by the time we make it back to WDW.
