Memory Maker in simple terms
I have read about memory maker, but cannot get my head around it(maybe the wine last night)do I activate it or does it do it automatically, how do I see them, and does everyone in our group need to set it up or will one person be enough? 🤔👍

It is automatically connected to your Disney app.
All of your photos will appear there. The photos will link to your account in one of three ways; 1) Automatically on some rides (scans your band without you knowing) 2) at the end of some rides you scan your band against your ride picture. 3) photographers will scan your band for the staged photos you have taken. |

Assume you have it with 14 / 21 days ultimate tickets? If so, yes this is how we have had it and it just works, never needed to do anything. We usually both tap just to be sure and we don't even have an account each.

Ah, thanks for the info. So we don't have to have separate accounts there are 4 if us and I have put them on my account so this will work even if they do their own rides? As long as they tap their babd👍

You can get a card (either from a photographer or one of the guest services locations e.g. one on main street) which you can link to your MDE account and they can manually scan the QR code on that.
Wouldn't work for tapping ride photos or receiving the videos for some rides (like 7DMT or ToT) though. |

You just use your entrance ticket (as this is linked to your MDE).
As others has stated, on certain rides where the photo's are loaded automatically, this would not happen using your card, as you do need a MB for this. Once photo's have been taken and you have 'tapped' your entrance ticket or MB with the Photo Pass photographer or on your respective ride photo, these are then uploaded onto your MDE (normally 10-20 minutes after the photo is taken). You can then view these photo's on your phone and upload them to your phone's memory, onto Face Book and probably all other media services. Photo's will only remain on your MDE for 45 days after the initial photo(s) are taken, so once you return home, perhaps look at downloading all the snaps onto your home PC or memory stick so you always have them to look at.

Or if you have an AP they just stay on your MDE for the term of that AP.
