Trying to do online check in

We booked a fly drive for my family coming back indirect with AA airlines - I then tried to add sons girlfriend to booking but BA said I couldn’t do just bought same flight just flight only and BA said they couldn’t link bookings . We are all checked in for tomorrow’s flight home but it won’t let us book sons girlfriend in - it is saying no booking exists with the number I have put in . I have previously used this number to book and pay for her seat selection . Has anyone else had this problem ? Shall I wait till I get to airport or try ringing them on my mobile which will cost a fortune. So worried what with Orlando airport closing that they have removed her from the flight as they overbook . What with the hurricane and now this I will be so glad just to get home and I never say that about holidays !

Can you do an online chat with AA? Not sure if they have this as never flown AA before.

Guess they are really busy but you have a valid query. Or maybe via Twitter. Can you check the number you are using for the booking. Sorry I can't offer much help.

Nor sure if this is relevant but I think BA and AA have different booking refs for the same code share flight.
