Just booked California dreaming

well 2 return flights with virgin LHR LAX Ł1545 all booked, a bit of disney calinfornia, las vegas and redondo beach cost Ł2500 with hire car, looked at orlando but its getting so expensive and busy in July August, plus humidity seen Sue off lst year !

Congratulations.. We are ‘Orlando’d out’ and will probably not return for pretty much the reasons that you have stated... flights to Florida and particularly Orlando during School Hols cost more than any other destination in the US. I am sick of paying it and now take my custom elsewhere in the US.. first by multi destination and then flying into Orlando on an internal as just a part of a bigger vacation and now by cutting it out altogether.
And don’t even get me started on theme park tickets and merciless gouging,

California is wonderful.

yep wrong one getting old!
Exchange rate also not helping matters, facical parking charges at parks, its mad a flight to LAX a lot further tha MCO is Ł400 cheaper per person. the flights are a con over school holidays its a shame everyone didnt boycot for a year.
Honestly think after so many trips its getting downheartning how its all about the $ in Orlando and not the experiance any more.
