When do you stop checking sleeping children?

Ok so I never check the 18yr old and only go into the 13 year old to make sure he’s actually in bed 😂😂😂
I check the 6 yr old before I go to bed and that’s it x

Yep so I’ve still got a million nights of checking. I think it’s maybe something I just have to do.
I’m sure when they are teenagers they will tell me where I can shove it lol but until then I have to check.

I still check on my 7 year old daughter before we go to bed as she usually got no covers on her and wouldn’t want her to wake up

Dd is 8 and I check regularly... at least once after she’s gone to bed, then when I go to bed, then if I wake in the night. I’m embarrassed to say that it’s not unusual for me to check she’s ‘still breathing’ Seems ridiculous but she’s so still sometimes it freaks me out, lol. If I ask dh to ‘check’ he does, but he rolls his eyes and usually comes back declaring ‘yep- she’s still there!’
