My daughters just done Vegas, LA and New york they were in LA Friday to Monday and said that was plenty of time they got lots done, all the places they wanted to see and do... Walk up to Hollywood sign, Santa Monica pier? walk of fame,etc etc but they did Universal not Disney but said it was very good, they didn't drive used uber easily enough to get around. The hotel they stayed in was amazing... Very jealous

I would do it the other way round.
Fly to SF, couple of days there and then drive to LA down Highway 1. Plan in 2 or 3 night stop on the drive. We stayed in Santa Cruz and Morro Bay on the drive down. Could easily have spent another couple of nights in different places. Big Sur in particular is incredible. 3 days at Disneyland is plenty. Its very small and compact. Maybe even 2 days if you can a commando park goer from open until close. Think Disneyland Paris if you have been there. 2 parks directly beside each other and plenty hotels in walking distance. We spent 11 nights in California last month. I loved it. Would love to go back and explore more but probably wouldn't bother with Disneyland again. It's not got enough appeal for a repeat visit, compared to WDW. |
