Yes she should be ok - I think she just has a problem going up a lot of steps at once or going uphills.
She actually has had Guillain-Barré Syndrome which affects her muscles in her legs. But she is a fighter and should be ok for most things. I think the stairs on the subway may be too much for her but not bad on a bus.

My wife is exactly the same Jean going up the statue of liberty almost killed her though, but she did manage okay with everywhere else quite easily

We are not going up the Statue of Liberty for that reason. We are quite happy just to cruise past it.

Tom, we plan to dress up a bit for the cruise although it will have to be something warm as we are determined to sit outside during the trip so we see everything!

I saw Curtains today and enjoyed it. Davis Pierce (Niles) did a great job acting although singing was a bit weak. He did win the Tony award for Male Actor this year. Also in the play was Edward Hibbert who played Gil Chesterson on Frasier. The female lead was excellent. For my next play I am considering Young Frankenstein. A couple on the train saw it and loved it.

Anyway, my friend went to Sardi's last weekend and enjoyed it. Its on 44th St. They are on the web. Its on the same street as Bubba Gump's. I passed the Irish place to get the name as I forgot it last week and, well, forget it again as it's not in English ... Irish I guess. Its on 8th Ave a block north of the post office. But I did find 2 other Irish places The Pig N Whistle on 47th and O'Lunney's on 45th both open til 4am. Sorry, I havent been to any of these places but I thought you may have time before Nov to check them out on the web. Today I just grabbed a fast slice as we were running late.

Well, just over 2 weeks to go and we are both getting so excited now!
We've got everything sorted.
Rang up the tour operators for Niagara Falls trip last week and confirmed the booking and got a pick up time from our hotel! Guess what time! 4.25am! Gosh I do hope it is a good day. Trying to convince myself it isnt that early as it will be 9.25 in the UK!

Also rang the helicopter people yesterday and got a slot for 3pm on the Friday so all organised now.

Starting the packing tomorrow and then just counting down to the day!

Thanks to everyone who has helped here and to SusieK for collecting me all the brochures during your recent trip.

Damn, damn and double damn! Just had an email saying that due to lack of people booking they have cancelled the brunch cruise on the Sunday So back to the drawing board to find other things to fit into the day! They have offered the night time cruise and meal at no extra cost but we just cannot fit it in which is a shame.
