I ire all need to sort out my plans for NY, I've normally planned everything within a week of the holiday being booked, but for some reason I've not with this holiday
Oh let me know how the metro is! It is only somewhere to rest your head but I've read that the breakfast isn't to everyone's liking. I tend to have toast or cereal though so I'm sure we'll be fine with what's there.

I'm the same usually as with Florida everything is normally planned by now. I guess because we've never been to NY before we keep changing our minds on what we want to do so I don't really want to put anything in stone just yet.

It's a great guidebook I love how it's sectioned off into the different areas plus it has a handy pocketbook subway map. Thanks we will

:) Hotel Metro is FAB

We have stayed at Hotel Metro twice now over the past year, lovely hotel and can't express how fantastic the location is, you can walk to almost everything. If you don't want to walk the subway is only 200 yards away. There is a fab Korean restaurant about 20 yards away. The breakfast is just what you need to set you up for the day and everything is really nice, the bagels and muffins are nice and fresh. The view of the ESB is to die for from the roof top garden. Another good roof top bar with an even better view of ESB is 230 & 5th google it 230and5th.com they do really nice cocktails too. It's about a 15minute walk down 5th Ave from Hotel Metro. Sorry this post has gone on a bit

Cheers for the info. Is the korean restaurant Han Bat? We did want to try some korean food whilst there as it's something different and I believe this restaurant is open 24/7 if it's the one I think. Bagels and muffins is good for me - I like my breads and cakes! Do you recall how much the cocktails were? I'm guessing they were average prices for NYC.
