Getting ESTA with post dated passport

OMG I'm in shock and in a bit of a panic. We are going to give notice tomorow so trying to sort out my passport application for them to sign. I read that some country's wont issue a visa with a post dated passport. We get married on the Friday and fly to florida on Saturday. My old passport ran out last month and I've booked my holiday in my married name. Do I risk it and stay up until 12oclock the night before my wedding and hope it will go through? I'm so upset, what can I do? has anyone else got any advice or experience?

You cant apply for esta with post dated passport. You will have to do it the day it becomes valud

As previous poster said you will have to wait until the day. My friend did this when she got married, they were flying at 11am the following morning. Hers was pending all night and only went through by early next morning.
If you have previously been approved and nothing has changed then you should be fine but to save stress if you have time it would be easier to just renew your existing passport and amend your booking.
