Mobile Wedding card and what to write?

I've been invited to a wedding next week, the groom is terminally ill and probably has no more than a few weeks left. Now where will I find an appropriate card and what on earth am I going to write in it? He is the son of a very close friend. Anyone able to help?

I work in a card shop and I had someone come in a few weeks ago in exactly same situation, the customer got quite upset and we spent quite a while together reading the verses and a lot just weren't appropriate, we ended up picking quite a simple card, think it was quite a plain picture of a bouquet and a simple verse too something like special wedding wishes, I can't remember exactly but I will look tomorrow when I go to work.
I'm sorry but I can't help with the words inside to write 😢, maybe also look on somewhere like moon pig and design your own card to send and then hopefully some other dibbers can suggest the right words to write inside.
What an emotional wedding it will be, sending hugs x

If it was me I would go for a regular congratulations on your wedding type card as it's still a happy day for them , what to write inside is harder, maybe just something along the lines of you are glad to be spending such a special day with them.
They both know they haven't got long but they've chosen to spend it as man and wife maybe they just want normality for a day.

I had this a couple of months back for a blessing for my dear friend who died last month, finding a blessing card was difficult but I managed to find one with *A toast to the happy couple* on the front and inside *Congratulations on your happy day* & I wrote *Wishing you both all the love in the world*

If the bride or groom are Catholic they may appreciate a marriage blessing card which says a Mass will be said to celebrate their wedding.

I do not know if other faiths have an equivalent marriage blessing but it might be worth inquiring if they are religious.
