My Brain is fried

I love that there is so much choice but now its frying my brain

Our son will be 10 by the time we go and not massively a fan of disney characters at meal times

I've managed to convince him (and my butthead husband ) to have one breakfast and dinner of character dining.

My mother in Law raves about Rainforest Cafe but I don't think that offer characters, however think it might make the cut at least

Does Boma do character dining? My son is an animal lover hence the reason we choose to stay at AKL.

we will probably spend around 3 days (half days at AK).

I suppose the point of this post is what character dinning or non character would you recommend and why?

Would you do Boma the 1st morning for breakfast? I think this could be a great idea however hubby isnt convinced its a good use of s TS

we are on the DDP so have a lot of flexibility IMO.

I am going round in circles food wise as there is so much to choose from. we ate at Yak and Yeti (I think last time) and we shared a meal as it was huge but that was OOP.

Tusker House in Animal Kingdom does a good (character) breakfast. You have a choice of more traditional items and also African inspired items. It's one of our favourites. Our other favourite is Crystal Palace (in MK). They are two that we will return to. I would also recommend 1900 Park Fayre as a good meal, but the characters there are exuberant so might not be the best to do if the rest of your party aren't that keen on character meals.

Boma is not a character buffet but it is lovely - we tend to keep for last morning as it is more leisurely - if you want a TS breakfast first morning def go for one in the parks instead. Tusker House is with characters, Mickey, Goofy, Donald and I forget the other sorry! ☺

OP. I have no knowledge of Character Dining sorry but a question leaps out.

You say your Son and Husband aren't interested so why are you doing it? Just wondering as it seems a waste of dining credits.
