We live in Belgium but drove north to the Netherlands Ja Hoor!

And went to this quaint village called Domberg

it's great there are lifeguards and best of all the have a HUGE section for your dogs. Since it was 33c here we decided to spend the day.

It was so wonderful to completely relax take a picnic and have a day in the water chilling with my son and wife. Plenty of space not over crowded. We had a few passing places where people were less than 1.5m away but we were just passing not striking up conversations so I reckon the risk was worth the pay off.

Anyway for those sitting at home worried like us get out and get yourself off to somewhere where you feel like you are on holiday. It's really good for the soul.

Sounds like a great day! Change of scenery and seeing real people rather than FaceTime, zoom etc does so much good doesn’t it!
I think we all now appreciate simple things so much more and won’t take things for granted in future

I’ve been to the beach four times in the last couple of weeks. Took sandwiches and snacks and the kids loved every second. Digging huge holes for me to fall in too, plodging in the sea, chasing the seagulls. Best free days ever 😀
