Can I join too, f am having the worst day so far 😪. I am trying really hard to stay positive, fit and healthy but it's proving so hard when there's nothing to do, nowhere to go and no one to see.
Stay safe all of you x

Just put up the Xmas lights outside, along with the whole neighbourhood it seems!.

Just went outside to see ours in the dark and saw so many lights, all around, all colours, all on, it brought tears... joyful tears... to my eyes.

Out of hospital after 3 months in there, not able to walk
Sleeping on a bed in the living room, not seen my parent since March because of being unwell and COVID restrictions
Crying a lot and finding things a struggle to be fair

Lots of people In my family not celebrating Christmas this year, well we are and will see my sister and my in-laws over Christmas. We will decorate the house and have presents and lovely food and drinks, I have felt down in the past but am more upbeat today, soon it will be over. Next Christmas will be the best ever but this one can still be nice, I gave some bits to the Sainsburys food bank today and there’s always people worse off. X

I’m sure I will feel down at some point again, but it’s a blip. Our close friends all have Covid and are watching Christmas films in there pjs, no chance we can see them but as soon as we can they can come over for massive spread

I’ll join the club.

It’s been a few months now since I lost my job and I still haven’t found work. I’ve been surviving off my last pay, matched betting and by just generally being tight. Obviously I live with my partner and luckily he is still in work which means we don’t have to worry too much about finances, but I can’t expect him to pay everything, he just couldn’t afford it. (I have savings as a back up too).

We were planning to buy a bigger house next year and we had some amazing holidays for this year that were cancelled, obviously now I have no job, these things won’t even be possible until I do (and when everything goes back to normal for the holidays).

I feel like I’m just moaning about first world problems, I have a roof and I’m warm and I have food, but I so badly want to work again and bring in an income.

I felt like this when i got it back in march. It was august before i started feeling myself (i developed pneumonia from it) but to be honest i still feel rough, more so the fatigue even now. Hope it doesnt last as long for you. I generally feel down due to just going to work and back every day. Today however i braved Tesco and treated myself to a Minnie Mouse dressing gown, in the sale for £14 plus i got a £5 voucher from Tesco mobile so £9 in total- cheered me up for a while 😊

Yes, I had my surgery, so on a liquid diet and I am sick of it, I have some trouble with some wounds and an infection in one. I have developed Vertigo which has been going on for over a week. I feel sick and the tablets don't really work. I found out the GP had a letter on the 13th October discussing some medication that needs changing and it was filed and not actioned. No one bother to do anything. I have a pain in my arm thats been there for about 2 months. It wakes me up and I am hardly sleeping. I am just tired.
