what you must also remember is that you can post a letter in lands end and the royal mail will carry that letter 830 miles to john o groats for the princely sum of 85p

you will not find another courier that will offer that service at that price

Doesn’t really bother me, I rarely post anything, I did grumble a bit when I had to post wedding invitations to people I didn’t even really like (long story) but otherwise I don’t think it’s bad value at all

Or even to Shetland . Mum in Orkney used to get post from me in Cheltenham in less than 24hours.

No longer do I support them. Their prices are ridiculous and they need to embrace change and be competitive which they certainly aren't.

Like the buses I can see more and more companies taking on their profitable slots namely Cities.

That really worked well fro TNT who tried mail deliveries, and failed abysmally.
