Anyone going away?

I really want to go away at the end of August. I have 2 weeks annual leave (For our cancelled Florida hol) and just can’t decide where to go. I don’t know whether to travel abroad to Europe, go to Ireland for a few days or try and get a holiday cottage in the uk for a week.

Any ideas - For those who have the same thoughts and want to have a break away, where are you going?

We’ve decided to stay in the country this year (had Florida booked for new year so hadn’t booked a summer holiday when we went into lockdown). We have just booked a week in Portreath, Cornwall for the end of August. Looking forward to it 🙂

We’re still booked for Florida at the end of October but I honestly can’t see that happening. No idea where would be hot and sunny, and safe to go instead at that time of year.

We should've been off to Lanzarote on the 17th but dont feel comfortable with this yet so moved it to next year. We are now looking at a cottage in Wells Next the Sea for a week in August.

We’ve book a cottage in Ireland early September-no ferry booked yet, as not 100% sure we will be able to travel. But remaining optimistic.

I had nothing booked but would like a weekend away somewhere this summer.

I can’t find what I want though, or at least not for a price I’m happy to pay!

Also don’t know where to go. We have done all the main spots within a few hours so I want to find somewhere new.

Glasgow hopefully for the August bank holiday and a night in Blackpool at the end of Sep. Also been looking at flights from our local airport but prices aren’t that great.
It won’t be anywhere near the same as Florida but fingers crossed having a year off will make the parks even more special when we return.
Now it would be great if the sun would make a appearance!
