Dreaming, Then The Beach Club Day 11

Day 11, Wed Sept 11th.

Not many photos today!
This morning we walked over to the Dolphin hotel to collect the car we've hired for a couple of days. We always have a car for the whole trip, but with us expecting to be on a cruise for the first part of the holiday we decided to just hire one to go shopping etc this time. It was straightforward, and there was no choice as there is a the main rental garages but it was only for us two for 2 days.
We headed straight to Ihop on the 192 for breakfast - I chose the healthy option, Churro Pancakes 🤣 🥞 which were gorgeous! Stuffed, we drove over to Vineland outlets to find a huge queue at the Disney Character Warehouse and stupidly stood in it. It took us over 2 hours to get in, do our shopping and pay. There were almost riots on!
After a cold drink we went up to the IDrive outlets for Yankee Candles ($55 for 5 large jars and $8 for 12 tarts), Bath & Bodyworks, Kate Spade for our daughter in laws birthday present and a few other stores including the Disney store where there was no queue or problems at all. We should have just gone straight there. Our Disney haul cost $97 for stuff that would have cost $371 + tax in the parks.
We got back to the resort, and we're so busy talking and carrying bags that we drove into, parked at and walked into the lobby of the wrong resort, we were in Yacht instead of Beach. I hope this isn't the beginning of the end!
When we finally got 'home' with our shopping and stopped laughing at ourselves we found some nice postcards left by mousekeeping. We have some similar we were given last year, they'd look lovely framed.
Later we went down to the BC Marketplace for a QS meal which we ate in the solarium, a salad and yummy strawberry trifle for me and rib dinner and choc muffin for R.

WOW 2 hours to get into the Disney shop, DH would never agree to that! But what a saving, now that he would like!

It was the mad queue to pay that doubled the time - it was ridiculous when the other store managed without any silly lines!

Great shopping day.
We were lucky and got to the Disney outlet early and were in within 10 mins.
It’s amazing how much you can save though.
We were after the limited edition Mickey and Minnie for our 2 granddaughters for Christmas.
We managed to get them but they were a pain to get home.
