We have Boston and Washington DC booked for end August into September. 5 nights Boston followed by 6 in central DC then off to stay with family and friends for the last 9 nights. Hopefully all will be ok but it’s not just up to us, if depends how out family feel about us coming to stay after being in the cities. They live very remotely on a 64 acre small holding and have managed to stay pretty isolated for the whole period due to their various vulnerabilities so we will not place them at harm or even at risk of being uncomfortable with us there. Fingers crossed we get to go.

We’ve booked New York for December. Unfortunately we have to go in the school holidays, so didn’t get as good a deal if we went at the beginning of December. But I still think we got a reasonable deal (with BA). I really hope it goes ahead (we were supposed to go last year).

NYC rebooked for 6 nights October 1/2 Term with BA, moved from April 2021 as it became clear that wasn't going to happen.

I have sort of reconciled myself that we will likely have to wear masks at least some of the time and it's inexpensive (1700quid for 4 of us) enough that I don't really care.

Was due to be going to NY on the 1st April but waiting for it to be cancelled and planning on re-booking for October half term!
