3 night Disney Cruise
Hi
As you can see from my signature, we have been fortunate to visit Orlando many times. However, we have never been on a cruise before and a bit clueless. We’re hoping to book for October 2021 when it’s released. There are 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Any advice about room types, location of rooms etc or any other tips would be very welcome . Edit- just found and read the sticky which was really helpful Edited at 06:56 PM. |

So room type with four of you then you probably want to think about a Verandah room just because it gives you that bit more space. The 4th guest will be on a bunk bed type set up I believe that comes out of the ceiling. The bonus with a verandah or oceanview compared to inside room is you have a split bathroom which makes getting changed easier with 4 of you.
Definitely read the sticky and have a look through that. Also look at the activities onboard ect. There is so so much to do on a Disney cruise.

Anyone have any idea when the October 2021 dates will be released and would you recommend booking directly with Disney or going through a TA. Thanks

In theory they should be released any time now up until first week of June based on previous dates. That said with everything else going on whether they do release them or not I guess is up in the air.
In terms of direct or with TA, for a 3 night cruise I probably would go direct. The gift/OBC amount for 3 night cruises is probably not worth the hassle having to pay in USDs in all honesty. That's the biggest issue with going with a TA. UK TAs do not give any bonus for booking with them so I wouldn't bother.

Also forgot to add earlier, if you can afford the time and money for a 4 night rather than a 3 I would always recommend it. The extra night gives you a day at sea where you get lots more ship activities you just don't get on a 3 night.

Never been on a Disney cruise but we have been with Carnival, Princess and Royal Caribbean. We always have a balcony cabin (aka veranda I guess ) and the deck plans should indicate those with an obstructed view. The plans also show those with interconnecting doors and those suitable for disabled access.

So if I can post this link
everythingmouse/disn...aterooms-avoid On here it states that on the Dream Navigator Verandah rooms have restricted views especially rooms 5024, 5524, 6178, 6678, 7182, 7680, 8176 & 8674. In this category rooms 8022, 8164, 8520 and 8662 have the least restrictions.
