Holiday advice
Hi we have a holiday to Tenby area booked for 15th August In a 5 bed cottage with Hoseasons. Deposit paid and balance due in 8 days .
We had booked for ourselves (2 adults) and 3 foster children ages 3, 5 and 13 and our daughter and son in law and grandson and also our son and his wife. The problem is that we would be a party of 10 from 3 separate households. The accommodation is open and they know we have booked for 6 adults and 4 children but I can’t see Hoseasons cancelling it so that means we either have to lose our deposit of £500 or pay the balance and go ! ? Any help and advice please ? |

Who would know how many households were there?

So how would the locals know that you are from 3 households and not two?

I also thought that because we were over a group of 6 then that may be frowned upon when out and about although just reading the welsh guidelines it does say no limit on numbers so that’s out my mind at rest regarding the number of us .
Thanks Edited at 08:18 PM. |

We were out last weekend as a party of seven (four from my house and three from my sister’s including her four year old daughter).
Everywhere we went initially told us we couldn’t be accommodated because we were one above the six limit, but after explaining we were two houses (and one was a tiny!) most places found us a table.

Things in Wales have really opened up now. There’s lots of larger groups getting together. I’m sure it wouldn’t raise any eyebrows at all. Plus you can still social distance as a group from other people. Have a lovely holiday.
