Miami airport hotel
Hello folks, we’ve just pushed our May trip back to October and are now due to fly into Miami.
We are looking to stay at an airport hotel, or happy to look at somewhere en route to Orlando as long as it’s within about an hour (ish) travel from MIA. We are a family of 4 and looking for somewhere clean with price being high up on the list of priorities as just planning on sleeping then making our way up to Orlando the following morning.(thinking along the lines of a premier inn type idea ) Any recommendations or places to avoid would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in anticipation Angela |

We stayed at the Sheraton Miami airport hotel. It’s just across from where you pick the car hire from. It’s a nice hotel at a good price.

For price I always just get the cheapest Holiday Inn I can find, as close as possible (in case flight is delayed, I wouldn't want to drive any distance at silly o'clock) - with grab and go breakfast.
Closest we stayed was Crowne Plaza, dated but very comfortable and spacious, with a Macdonalds 10-15 min walk away. We booked the Hilton at Dolphin Mall one year as on an early flight, and that was really nice and good for a bit of shopping (and the food hall), making sure we didn't fall asleep at 7pm!

The hotel at the airport isn’t exactly the Ritz but after a long flight it takes minutes to get to your room and crash. You’ll save money too by not having to commence your car hire until the following day.
Also, because you’ll likely wake up early, you’ll be able to collect your car before any arrivals rush and get moving on the drive north. |

We’ve just booked the Embassy Suites by Hilton West Palm Beach Central for a night in August.
£97 for a suite including breakfast. Free parking and easy to get to from MIA. |
