Air New Zealand what’s included?

Hi
Anyone who has flown economy Air New Zealand from London to Lax - are drinks and snacks ordered through the in flight entertainment free or do you have to pay for them? I can’t work it out from their website
Also, does anyone know what choices of food they serve? They only have a sample menu on their website (and its stuff hubby won’t eat)
Thanks x

Even the airline won’t be able to tell you what the food will be the day you travel. That’s in the hands of the caterers they have contracted. I’ve not flown with them but I’ve found exonomu food fairly standard across Aer Lingus/BA/Virgin, chicken or beef in some sauce usually with rice or pasta on the side. Your husband can bring his own food on board in case he doesn’t fancy what they’re serving.

Hi Yes we have flown with them, exactly this route but it was in 2013 & everything was included free even the drinks & snacks we ordered from the IFE. Was a really good flight & outbound we were upgraded to their comfier seats that had a foot rest & converted into a sort of flat bed type seat (I am sorry I cannot remember what these seats were called, they are still in economy though) we were informed by another regular flyer with Air NZ that they quite often upgrade you on the outbound flight if they have the space so as to try encourage you to buy the same type seats for the return! Unfortunately for the return (which was a night flight) we didn't have these seats and got the standard ones. Things may have changed as like I say this was in 2013 but hopefully not great airline, enjoy your flight
