Fancy sounding menus

Hi, I've just started to look at menus, especially for the signature dining, as I'm trying to find somewhere nice to eat for our wedding anniversary with our three Teen DD in tow, we have the DDP.
The trouble is, I don't always understand the menus as the food sounds fancy and I'm not even sure what some of the components of the different meals are
Any tips on how to best interpret the menus ahead of time? I know we can ask when we're there and substitute for other things but I'm trying to find a nice restaurant with a good choice in meat dishes as we're not fish lovers to book an ADR for us all.

My other thought is to book somewhere like Cali Grill for DH and me and book the girls into chef mickey around the same time for example but I'm sure I've read that the system won't let you do that?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated

The Yachtsman is just a steakhouse and doesn’t have anything too fancy on the menu. To be honest we’ve been put off California Grill as the menu looks too fancy for us. Narcoossee’s is also nice.

We found the menus sound much fancier than the food actually is.

A google of the menu item will normally bring up a photo.

You can just make a reservation on allears for Cali grill if it won’t let you reserve both

How about Cali grill brunch. My fussy 13 year old wanted to definitely do that this trip again.

When checking menus I just google everything I don't know. It's easy to do.
