Thank you Gerddon this has put my mind a little more at ease.
Sorry to hear about your car. Hopefully you will get it sorted today.

if Disney don't honour it, you have to complain whilst onsite with Disney and your TA, then claim your TA when you get back...

Benefit of booking thru an agent, is that its their problem, not yours, you enjoy your hol and they go and sort it. That's the theory anyway...
Hi Papamouse no we Were just told over the phone so think I Will call them today and request it In writing. The likely hood of any problems arising are probably small but better to be safe then Sorry.

thank you for your help not just too myself but too everyone on this thread. I've been reading it for months and there has been some invaluable advice given, and I know that I wouldn't be as excited and looking forward to this holiday if it wasn't for this forum.

When the construction is over can we carry this on as the CBR construction survivors club/clique?

This thread has been so helpful

Finally Home,
29 days and just walked in.
Any questions ... feel free to ask.
I had no problem at all with getting my vouchers and the room credit was on account as
"WDW resort sales &Svcs admin salaried Orlando Guest Inconvenience" -$1575.
Manager came straight over, gift cards given with no need to ask and the gifts were left in the room.
The hotel itself wasnt really effected by the construction as far as i could see , all the construction seemed to be condensed to one part.
My only problem was the dinning place/tent.
But they were quick enough to move me , when it was obvious it was too much for my daughter.
She didnt like the hmmmmming of the air/con fan.
She didnt like the steel band.
She didnt like the fact that she couldnt have nesquick with her breakfast.
Oh and one day we had cold sausages,(the chef actually came out and checked the temp , and was shocked .
As soon as i explained the problems they offered to move me , but had a nightmare finding a room for 5.(they also said we could keep the gift cards too.)
Eventually they found a room from the next night at Port Orleans,
We checked in they gave us a room card, went to the room and someone else was in it.
To make it worse we had just bought our dinner to eat in the room while we unpacked .
so we had 4 cases 2 holdalls 3 kids and 3 trays of now cold food back at check in again.
They have no idea whats happened but cant find another room for 5 and ask us to go to food court, replace our meals and get what we want while they sort it out.
30 mins later they have a room for us (with wet carpet! ) but at least we had a room .
Other than the buses at port orleans being packed and not running to well esp to magic kingdom.
An amazing holiday was had (ohhhh and the disney dollars were spent ... on parassaling , tubing , wakeboarding, )
