Do Americans drink orange squash? If so, what's it called and where do we buy?
Tried to buy orange squash last time we went to Florida but could only find "Gatorade", surely they must drink something like a squash drink. Don't really want to resort to buying "English" version if they have something similar we could try.

Never seen any. Not sure quite why you would want some given excellent and cheap fresh florida orange juice?
You may find you have to bring a bottle from home and prey it doesn't leak! |

I have never seen squash when in Pennsylvania, imagine it is the same all over but you never know. Everyone seems to drink kool aid, which is made up from a powdered form.

You can buy squash over there - usually down the 'international' aisle in the supermarkets. We bought some last August - but it's very expensive - about $4 I think!

I don't think you will find squash in the US.
I remember years ago when my ex DH's little sister came to stay with us in the UK (she lives in California) she was almost sick when I gave her squash! She was used to drinking freshly squeezed orange juice - LOL! |

We had problems trying to find orange squash last time we were in the US (Pennsylvania). We also bought something for the kids that looked like cheese strings but didn't taste quite the same. Are other people's kids like mine? If something looks familiar but doesn't taste "right" then it's no good and they won't finish it.

There is a 'British Store' at Old Town on 192 where you can buy Robinsons and Ribena squash but as AlisonB pointed out it is a little pricy. You can also buy Hobnobs, chocolate buttons and Maltesers there as well!

American's don't drink squash, the kids out there drink powdered drinks - we like the pink lemonade variety.
