Absolutely - my DDs love HRH - only chose RPR this time as the club level rate was so good

Yeah it works out at $1504 normally, compared to the other quote I'm getting for $1199 (which would technically work out for 4 nights being $299 a night!). I'm still totally confused, lol, I'm just not getting it. I just assumed if you're paying for 4, say the rooms £92 a night you'd pay 4x£92 but it doesn't seem like they're working it out that way. Someone in this thread mentioned pro-rata so I'm assuming that's how it's not working out the way I thought it would?

Or am I just being totally idiotic here!

Bump!
Is there a site that you can just put down a deposit for the room at this good price, or do all sites require full payment? Will be going next October but money is a bit tight at the moment.

You pay one nights rate plus tax as a deposit.

I think you can pay a deposit on the Universal website as at the bottom of my quotes it says Amount charged on credit card for deposit: $171.33 (this seems to be standard). However, I don't have any experience booking with Universal myself so hopefully someone will be able to confirm

The rate is $299 per night - you are getting 7 nights for 4 x $299 instead of having to pay 7 x $299

This 'glitch' means that if you want to stay less than 7 nights you can get the nightly rate of $171 ($1199 divided by 7) instead of $299 per night. The rate is only supposed to apply for 7 night stays, not for 1 or 2 night stays
