'Disney Area Villas' booked through Cosmos - any good?
Two weeks tomorrow and we're off! Can't wait - our first time!
We've booked everything through Cosmos, and our paperwork says our villa is "Disney area", Kissimee - but there are several specific villa complexes mentioned, we only find out exactly where we are when we arrive. Has anyone else done this? Main question really is whether we will have a wireless broadband connection in the villa as I'm debating whether to take my laptop or not? A friend went in March and had wireless broadband although it hadn't said so in their brochure - but they went with Virgin. Anyone? |

As each home is individually owned, it probably depends if owner offers it. You can contact the company and ask, but if they don't allocate it until the time of arrival, they may not know which specific villa you will have as of yet.
I would take my laptop and hope for the best as most people these days have at least wired internet (we always take our wire to hook up, as sometimes wireless if offered can be termperamental at some places). At both of our properties we have wired (we provide the wire) and wireless and resorts have internet cafe. So worst case scenario, there may be an internet cafe in the resort or one nearby the public can use. Have a great time! Sandy Sandy |

Tour operators get their villas through agents who manage private owners’ villas, and usually allocate your villa on arrival in Orlando, so you will not know exactly what you will get until you arrive. (Not all homeowners accept tour operator bookings.)
Whether your villa will have wi-fi or not depends on whether or not the owner has chosen to provide it. If you have any problems with a rental villa, it is always a good idea to let the management company and the tour operator know straightaway. They are on hand to deal with any issues. |
