"Exporting" your purchases
Hi.
Just been browsing some other threads and someone mentioned that you should perhaps say to the sales assistant that you are exporting the goods being purchased. Is this a general rule and if so, what is the advantage? Discount perhaps? Any other tips too? I go in abt a week and this would be really useful to know. Thanx Paul

I guess the OP is refering to goods being made "Tax Free / VAT free" if a Non - US resident.
I think this has been asked before and the answer is no.
