hi
We are staying at the Travelodge at Altrincham, according to the website it is really close to the airport, a short taxi ride away. We got a great room saver rate room as well - only £29!

Wow thanks guys some great tips there. Will be checking them out. Love the Radisson but think I'd rather save a bit this year

We live £4.00 in a Taxi from the Airport, in fact we sometimes have a walk to the airport pub.
My missus actually wants to stay over in a hotel at the airport to get 'In the mood' for the holiday! The Heald Green pub where the Prem Inn is at, is our local lol

Yeah its great on a nice day. However it gets really busy when the sun is out. We went last week, luckily just for a drink and the table was 30mins wait followed by a 45min food wait. Worth it though.
We saw the A380 come in while there, quite awesome.

Both of the Runger Lane Premier Inns are fab. I haven't stayed at the Heald Green PI but the reviews are good and to be honest, I've never had a bad stay at a Premier Inn. Worth noting that the Runger Lane hotels charge £5 a night parking where as the Heald Green Hotel does not.

This year we are getting the train to the airport for the first time and have booked the Rad Blue for convenience. Wasn't cheap mind you...
