I think it's pretty normal. Things get heated when you are competing. Also I've been playing board games with people who've flipped the board when they've lost so maybe not just limited to playstation/xbox.

Not necessarily, I miss dh playing his xbox (he hasn’t played for a while). I don’t feel the need to be attached 24 hours a day and like a bit of alone time (and the other tv to myself 😊 ). Obviously he wasn’t playing it 24/7 as I’m sure the op’s dh isn’t.

My son has a wii switch and a PS4 in his bedroom, he never swears! He shouts No occasionally or you hear a shout but never swearing. Actually my kids don’t swear in front of me or dh even tho we do sometimes!

My 6 year old got a Nintendo switch for Christmas and so did 3 of his friends. They all have headphones and it is so funny listening to them. They get all excited and giddy, my son jumps up and down on the spot squealing.
I do hope it’s a good few years before he swears 😳 lol
My 13 year old doesn’t go on the x box that often but he is at the moment and we can hear him laughing and shouting, no swearing luckily. He doesn’t play fifa, it’s a bit complicated for him
I have a feeling my youngest will be more into gaming than my older son because he has no learning problems or anything so picks up the rules etc quickly
