Ours is 17 years old and still going strong, used every day several times a day.

My DH changed the bearings once after we washed a large duvet in it which it didn’t like but other than that we’ve done nothing to it.

I love it & will get another when it finally gives up.

Appreciate you're talking Miele, but for those needing a new washer I recommend Haier, ours is excellent. Our old Whirlpool was very noisy, had to go. Considered Samsung Eco Bubble as bro and ma have one, surprised to discover Haier were (last Sept) the quietest washer on the market due to the lifetime warranty direct motion motor, no belt (53dB on wash/67dB on spin). We rinse/spin tested afore pushing under the worktop, stood by the machine on a 1400 spin I rang ma, asked what she could hear, not a thing. Took a while to stop double checking it was on

Paid £225 for the Haier HW80-81439, 8kg, including delivery.
