It’s a nightmare, isn’t it.

Good work managing to avoid them when you were planning

Thankfully our daughter has just finished secondary school so we don’t have to worry about them for the next few years till iit’s Our sons turn.

Thanks for this although DS is not happy as he has all of his highers between 30/4 and 11/5 ! Just a shame he doesn't want to go to Florida but gives me the dates to play about for possible New York or Iceland trip before he starts 6th Year some point in June.

Interesting to see they have gone with the Friday being the bank holiday and Higher English being on the "Bank Holiday Monday". I didn't think Scotland had confirmed this Bank Holiday change.

I suspect we will be resitting Higher English.

I’m a couple of years away from this yet. I have booked for 24 June next year so my boys will only miss the last 3 days of school!

I gambled before the timetable came out going by last couple off years exam dates but it hasn’t paid off. So need to decide if our son wants to fly out later and meet us or what best to do? Does anyone know if Disney would charge to take one person off the booking? Xx

Im not involved with exams but Im pretty sure Scotland also said the bank holiday would be moved a couple of days after it was announced at Westminster.

It looks like Scotland has shifted the back holiday, but not all local authorities have followed suit. Some schools will be off on the Monday and others on the Friday. We are Dumfries & Galloway and we are (currently) staying with a Monday holiday
