2 adults and 2 teens (15 & 18)
4th - 25th July 2020 Direct Virgin flights from Glasgow 21 nights in a villa 21 days car hire (standard suv) 14 day Seaworld/Busch/Aquatica tickets Kennedy Space Centre tickets Total £5571 = £1392.75pp or £66.32pppn We’ve also booked 1 day tickets to visit Hollywood Studios (£365.85 for 4 of us) which I haven’t included as these were bought for Christmas as the boys asked for them to see Galaxy’s Edge since we had no plans to visit either Disney or Universal this year. I also booked one night at Art of Animation for the night before but used Tesco Clubcard vouchers to pay for the majority of it so only cash cost was £38.97 for that. Had I included these our costs would be £71.14pppn. Not sure on spending money but oldest will have his own spends and youngest will have some money of his own also. |

Not sure where I am going wrong but everyone else's holidays seem much cheaper than mine
We are not going until October 2021 and currently (not including spending money) we are at £158 per night each. That is for 4 x adults in 2 rooms and includes, flights, hotel, Disney/Univesal/Kennedy Space Centre tickets, Esta, Transfers, Pre-booked seats, insurance & extra baggage. Still need to book 2 nights at Universal but other than that, hopefully everything else is taken care off. Just got to save up now to afford it all Daisydoo |

How long are you going for? Those with longer stays will always have a cheaper per night price as the flight costs are divided by more nights. Those with children are also cheaper. The price per night really only works for a simple comparison tool between stays of a similar length, with an all adult party, but as long as the lenght/no of children is given, it's a rough tool to show how costs for different holidays differ.
Surely if you're not going until October next year, flights haven't been released yet so the best prices are still to come. |

There are lots of things to factor in. What kind of hotel are you staying in? Is there any food included in your hotel booking? What class of flight are you using? Etc. Lots of variables and that’s why everyone’s prices are so different. I’m enjoying reading each persons holiday ideas so that I can see if, on another holiday for example, I could do a budget holiday or maybe splash out on a luxury holiday, or even how much it might cost to go for 3 or 4 weeks. I’m not using the different prices to compare to mine. Your holiday is yours. What does AJ say on Disney Food Blog? You do you! 😊😊 you’ll have a fabulous holiday whatever way round you choose to do it 😊

Updated costs for September 2020:
Man to mco virgin flights for 3 adults in economy and 2 rooms (taking the parents) for 14 nights at RPR - £7600 (rebooked after the Thomas cook debacle and lost premium and 200 quid price increase... yes I'm still annoyed) 300 to book exit row bubble seats 2100 for tickets (Universal and WDW) 1400 spending money, not including what my father is taking About £11500 of which I'm covering about £7500. And I bought a car in Jan for £3000. The finances weep this year, but it will all be worth it when we get there. Edited at 04:59 PM. |

Total cost for solo January 2020 trip: £1165.32
This included Virgin flights, 5 nights accommodation at Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort, transfers to hotel and back to airport, 3 park explorer Universal ticket and v-room ticket. I took around £550 spending money which was more than enough for my (very) quick stay. Only did Universal so no Disney tickets. |
