If they do mean that thread then it does literally say "July/August/September" in the title. So clearly it doesn't cover just the school holidays.

Scottish school holidays only run until mid August(from end of June) so Glasgow/Edinburgh flights may be cheaper if people were willing to travel up the way!

True - the Glasgow schools finish up on 24th June and pupils go back on 13 August. Teachers are back on 11 August which is so early. I’m really struggling to get decent flight prices direct or indirect from Glasgow this summer.
