Yes i really like budget. I have used them on a few occasions from Miami, Orlando and Sanford. Never had a problem with their cars or the service. I find that a lot of people use alamo so the que has never been that long.

Suggestions would be Research the car as they are allocated before arrival. If you are un happy just ask them to change it. I have done this no problem in the past whenever they try and offer me a CVT transmission.

Read up on the Toll package as this differs from Alamo.

As with all rental companies check charges before you sign and leave desk.

They do something called fast break which allows you to skip the counter but not sure if its available to uk customers.

I like them and always try for them and sister company Avis.

The staff once explained to me like this.

Avis = Chrysler Town and Country

Budget = Dodge Caravan

Essentially same car but the badge suggests other wise.

Hi Maddox, it's subjective but for us they're fine. Our nearest Budget is 12 miles off isle vs 40 to Fort Myers airport, as we own a Fl banger I hire cheap as chips economy, one day/one way drop off when driving from/to MCO. Never had a breakdown, cars are canny and cheap.

No Maddox, you'll only see what's available upon arrival at Budget's depot.

Yes will be or similar. I'm not sure with budget if they let you know in advance of arriving at counter. They do with Avis via the app so maybe the Budget app will do this as they are sister companies.

Booked with Budget past two trips (Dec 2016 & July 2019)

Both occasions late night flight into MCO and on the road within 5mins of walking out the airport

We used Fastbreak on both occasions and car was pre-assigned ( I dont know if this would be any different if our arrival time was earlier)
Our paperwork with our assigned car bay was on the board at the booth - checked the vehicle round once and then headed to the exit.
Operator at exit confirmed ok with vehicle, scanned paperwork and my license and we were on our way.

We booked a Standard Elite Suv (Ford Explorer or similar) shown as 7 seats & 2 large bags (this has since been change to 7 seats 1 bag) for the 6 of us.

We got a 7 Seater Nissan Pathfinder which was a nice car to drive.
3rd row seats were small, low & a bit unforgiving - It also reduced the boot space drastically and we struggled to get 1 case in nevermind 2. Other than the trip to and from MCO which were a very tight squeeze the car was great for us.

Are you UK based? How did you sign up for fastbreak? I can't see UK on the list.

To my knowledge Budget no longer offer Fastbreak to UK citizens, I got round that by using the US address we winter in
