Most people I've spoken to have no idea that we had a storm here! Gutted as I love a good storm.
Flights to Manchester were diverted in to Newcastle then local taxi firms were taking them down to Manchester!

One of the things I noticed this morning when looking at my phone is that there wasn't much about the storm on the news app. I guess London and the South East didn't get the storm then.

Where I live in Kent we did have one rumble of thunder and a small downpour😉😁.

Here in Slough last night we had a bit of thunder and lightning for 15 mins, then a massive flash and the most almighty clap of thunder I have ever heard, sounded like a bomb had gone off. Turns out a house a mile away from me was struck by lightning. No injuries but they will need a new roof and I believe there was a fire too. Suddenly my irrational dislike of storms seems rather rational!

We didn't get a storm here, saw a bit of lightning but no thunder, guess somebody was getting a pounding. Went back to sleep and heard no more, think we may have had a small amount of rain. Today, Weds, was a lovely day and seems tomorrow will be canny too.
