The old town, looks really interesting, with some lovely architecture, but I can imagine it got pretty hot, walking around it,in the day.
Looking forward to reading about you using the local bus to the national park,as this is definitely on our to do list.
Some lovely photos, which is giving me a better feel of the place.
Thanks for the update

Pleased you are enjoying it and it’s helpful to you. If you want to know anything specific, let me know and I will try and help.

Krka is amazing and definitely worth visiting. Without spoiling the next day’s report, I will say using the public bus there was interesting and did have a bit of a problem for us but I still think it’s the best way to go to Krka as with an organised trip your time is very limited there and it deserves quite a few hours to look around and enjoy the beauty.

It was a lovely day, it felt very relaxing walking around Split. It’s a good city to get around easily and had great bus and ferry links to other places too.

I told Mum that people would want to see pictures of cats (and I take lots of photos of cats haha) Sorry I don't have any of that cat and kittens but here's a photo of another cat we saw that day. And we saw lots of cats on the last day, so I'll definitely make sure Mum lets me post those ones

A fabulous day, so much to see in Split, your photos look so like mine from our trip! There is a beautiful light in the evenings, everything just glows... Your swim at the beach looks wonderful, and then a lovely dinner! Not to mention very cheap wine, Im all for that!
Looking forward to reading more.

The city and waterfront looked beautiful by night, our balcony was perfect for just sitting and enjoying the view.
The Malbec was really good quality, I didn’t expect it to taste so good as it was so cheap.
We are hoping to get the next day posted tomorrow, it’s Krka Park so lots of breathtaking views and photos from there 😀

Just been to Split last week for the day as part of a cruise , we loved it there and would love to go back for a long weekend .
I thought Dubrovnik was gorgeous but Split was even better. Your photos are great

Hope you enjoyed your cruise. I would definitely recommend Split for a short break, we loved the mix of city and beach.
Thank you, Georgia is the main photographer, she really enjoys the hobby and takes thousands of photos on every holiday which makes it difficult to decide which ones to put in the trip reports 😃
