May 2020 (18-31) or August 2020 (15-29)

Can anyone give me some insight on how busy/hot it would be in May compared to August, I’ve been in August before so know what that is like, but thinking of a trip just after my daughters SATS

Any help would be much appreciated

I’d choose May because of the humidity in August. Impossible to predict crowds. August could be quieter as most American kids will be back in school. Any difference in price?

May is a lot cheaper, that’s why I’m thinking of then

We originally were going to go in October but once there was no free dining we moved our holiday to May 20th for 16 nights

I’ve done August a lot and May once. Even in an unseasonably hot May I much preferred it. It was also cheaper for sure. Quite a different vibe. Hardly any Brits about. Once school holidays are done with (one year to go)! its May all the way for me.

That would definitely swing the vote for me but even if it was more expensive I’d still go May. I still shudder at the memories of AK in August & that was 20 years ago. Lol.

Also, Epcot has the Flower & Garden festival.

We’re going 2/5:23/5 next year.

I would go in may too rather than August.

Another vote for May. We might be heading back in May 2020 as a ‘Graduation Present’.

We always travel in May. It’s generally slightly cooler with less rain showers than in july/august. Crowds are also quieter but be aware that school have trips to the theme parks. Memorial weekend is mega busy in the parks but far quieter in the shopping outlet centres with great deals.
