Memorial Day Week or Halloween
I was wondering if anyone had experience with both May and October in Disney.
We're booking to stay in a Disney hotel but will be there 16-30 May 2020 which includes Memorial Day weekend. I've always been to Orlando and stayed outside Disney within September to November, but could only do Halloween time in 2020 and crowds seem to have grown every year around that time. Any opinions or tips on end of May vs late October from recent years would be great. PS, are early FP+ booking and EMH enough to negate crowds at all? I'm driving my husband mad and he just wants to have everything definite so I'll finally be quiet about it! So what do you think, late May or late October? Thanks Folks :-) |

We originally had planned to book halloween 2020, however we planed to stay onsite and as there was no free dining we changed to May 19th - 5th June 2020. I have never been before but from everything i have read there doesn't seem to be an overly quiet time to go

Thanks Pascaltimon, good to know someone else has struggled choosing with those times. I think I would be less worried actually if I didn't have anything to compare to if it does turn out to be really busy, especially with how the prices seem to have jumped in recent years.
Hoping having more time on FP and EHM will make a big difference... ;-) |

Memorial Day will be HOT and busy, even if the schools haven't broken up there are all the class trips and graduation bashes.
We used to go for the last 2 weeks in May but now if we can't get away by the 1st week we leave it until September/October. This year we went last week March and 1st week of April, our next trip is mid September. Next year will probably be March and late September/early October |
