It was about 50 years ago that I went to Montserrat, brings back happy memories. Hazelnut liquer sounds nice

I'm glad you are doing better. The surgeon came at midnight?! Wow. And I thought it was ridiculous when they rounded at my hospital every morning just before 5.

Some lovely pictures. I visited the monastery at Easter 16/17 years ago. The black Madonna that people touch is supposed to give a blessing for fertility. I was trying for a baby and fell pregnant the next month! She’s 16 in a couple of weeks!

What a fantastic day. I would love to see the Boqueria but alas we didn't have time. We have done the Mercado de San Miguel in Madrid, but it would have been nice to compare the mercats ... (see what I did there?)

The mountains and monastery look amazing too, and as for that meal - oh yes!
