We went for my birthday lunch in December for lunch having been the previous year for dinner.

It was riotous on both occasions.

The staff threw straws, teased the children, ketchup was yelled for loudly and often, adults were insulted even when having Happy Birthday sang to them. At lunch a waitress "stole!" my younger daughter's mobile and ran around the restaurant taking selfies with the customers.

Dinner was very busy, lunch not as much but the insults were more frequent and personnal then. More singing at dinner.

It is not fine dining but the food was good and worth paying out of pocket for us as we all enjoyed the side show.

We did it 2 summers ago when we stayed at WL and loved it. Fun with the ketchup, Straws and napkin hat for hubby as it was his birthday. Great fun and the kids loved it.

I had booked this as last day lunch as we are staying in the hotel. I think I will cancel though, it is not appealing to me.

We went a couple of weeks ago and it was one of our most enjoyable atmospheres in any of the restaurants, ketchup shenanigans, kids doing the hobby horse race, we all sang happy birthday to someone who got brought out a cupcake for the server to eat the cupcake in front of the person, it had us laughing our heads off!

Yes it was, hubby recommends the milkshakes too! What was also good was that now they have different variations of the skillets you can each order a different one and share (it is what the waitress recommended to us).
