Hi Mel
I am really enjoying your TR
We met briefly at the GDO last year and I'm going again this year so hope to chat with you some more!
I completely understand how emotional this must have been and I honestly think, now you've done a solo trip once, it'll be even easier next time
I've traveled solo many times, including Disney Cruises, Disneyland California and Disneyland Paris and when you get in the flow of a solo trip, they are so much fun!
In fact, I've just booked a solo trip to DLP for September which is why I popped on here to read trippies
Looking forward to reading along!

Oh my goodness, what an emotional day. But you survived it and had some fun too, so well done you. Looking forward to the next instalment.

Really enjoying your trip report, thanks for writing and sharing. I think you are really brave and things can only get better from here - you are amazing not to let something be ruined by past memories. Onwards and upwards :-) xxx

I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone for all your lovely comments, you have genuinely moved me to tears (again!) I have been so overwhelmed by the support I have received both online and in real life and can't express enough how much it means, so thank you all.
I did debate if I was possibly oversharing, but this is my report of my first solo trip and I wanted it to be a true reflection of how it was for me to look back on and see how far I've come.
I would also like to say that I did have some fun too and hope that comes across in the next few days

Lovely to see a trippie from you Mel, and hope you found the trip got easier for you.

So glad you only had to do the alcohol walk of shame. From your little hints about a problem with the alcohol, I'd got visions of that bottle of Prosecco exploding all over your clothes in your case - think you got off lightly really.

Bless you Mel, only you could get stopped at security for transporting booze in your case (I shouldn't laugh but can't help it)

Well done you. That must have been a really tough day in many ways.

I'm surprised you didn't break open the prosecco at the security gate and start glugging it down - I think I would have been tempted...
