I agree. It is incredible to see in person and nothing like any other church. We got there quite early one morning and were lucky with the queues. We found the audio tour very good. There was a special tour for children to bring it alive a bit for them.

I would recommend a trip to Montserrat as well if anyone is there for more than a few days. It has a stunning setting in the mountains. I am not big on coach trips usually but was very glad not to be driving! I can't imagine what the journey was like on your school visit.

Another good day - the weather was certainly kind to you too. I skipped over a lot of today's report because we didn't get into Sagrada Familia last time and will be pre booking this time, so I didn't want to spoil it as its one of the things I'm really looking forward to.

Thanks for this - I've been looking at a couple of excursions and this is one of them.

The church looks lovely and so worth a visit. Also have visited Montserrat on the way to Andorra, loved it

Our son was only talking on Wednesday about taking his girlfriend to Barcelona for a long weekend, we will show him your report.

He went to Madrid last year with the work lads, did go to a bull fight and said he would never go again, so glad that they have banned it in Catalonia.

The evening tour sounded fun, glad you got back to your hotel ok, Hic! Hic!

I'll explain all later! About to settle down for some sleep. Been at the hospital now for 20 hours counting last night.

Tomorrow I'll work on Day 3.
