Hola! or Ohla! A Barcelona experience. Day 2

Are they making you fast everyday while waiting in case a spot opens up? I remember being SO hungry while they waited to figure out when they could schedule my gallbladder surgery (because my pain went in waves, I felt totally fine and was just hanging out at the hospital...)

I hope you aren't extremely uncomfortable while waiting- when my husband had his appendix out by day 4 from the emergency visit he was already back at work! That seems like a long time to wait.

The Sagrada Familia is amazing. I plan to revisit the year it's due to be finished, 2026 which is the anniversary of Gaudi's death. Sounds ages away but it's only 8 years! 😀

We visited the Sagrada Familia but only from the outside. It was stunning , I was gob smacked at the detail and size.

What a fab day. We only had about an hour in Sagrada Familia and so felt we had only really scratched the surface. There is just so much to see.

You got better photos of the 4 evangelists than we did! I did wonder whether they were the Hogwarts houses for a minute...

(Oh, and the Ollivanders of wine is Berry Bros and Rudd in St James's!)

The tapas walk looks great. We would love to do one. We did something similar in Venice a few years back, and our guide was very 'happy' indeed as he got a free drink every place we went!
