Mobile Escape Lounge 2 Manchester

I wondered if anyone had been to the escape lounge in Manchester Terminal 2 recently. We fly at 10.35 am on our sons 21st birthday and will want a breakfast. Last year we went to the VLounge and thought this was a great start to the holiday but have booked Virgin Atlantic this time.
I have heard mixed reports about it. I have read you get a full buffet breakfast but also that you only get a bacon or sausage barm. Not sure if this info is out of date.
If anyone has used it recently if you could let me know if it was worth it ( I have a 15% off voucher so it would be £75 for 4)

Thanks all !

The last time we used it we got it free with VA, but I can honestly say I would not pay for it. Everything was just ok and yes you are correct regarding the bacon buns.
I just thought it was overall poor.
The coffee was fine.
The lunch time was a little better with the trays of sandwiches and salad bowls.
The bonus was the kids could plug the phones in!
Everyone will have there own opinion, but for us - no I would not pay to go in here.
( I have been told the vroom is loads better, but we have never been in)

Thank you. The VRoom was good, nice food, relaxed start to holiday. (Went Gatwick last time though). Even better when it is free though, we didn’t pay for the VRoom either.

My son wouldn’t be happy if all he had was a bacon butty ! We could always have Premier Inn breakfast but I can never face eating so early.

We went in June, free with tui. There was a hot buffet breakfast served along with pastries, yoghurt and berries plus Prosecco! I was pleasantly surprised it was better than I expected. Is it worth £75 for 4 people? Depends on what you would normally spend on breakfast I suppose.
