Yes it does

I hated running but did it and have 2 half marathons under my belt now

I’ve discovered I hate them 🤣

But I love 10K and recently did a fab 5k round a wildlife park which was very cool.

I still return to the programme occasionally when I’ve been off running or need a kick up the butt.

Give it a go, what have you got to lose...

And good luck to everyone who has signed up already

I’d never run in my life and it worked for me. The key is to follow the program and don’t try and go too fast

Yes, follow it properly tho, dont be fooled into doing more than what it actually tells you to do.

It's amazing .. I went from not running for the bus last year to running 25-30 miles per week and training for a marathon 😲

Mind it has just cost £120 for new running trainers as I'd worn out my others lol

Absolutely.

I hadn’t run since school (I’m 50). I thought I was going to collapse when I did Week 1, day 1. If I can do it, I’m sure you can.

Very best of luck to you x

Most definitely. I am 58 and never ran my DD ‘s BF is a fitness instructor and convinced me to give it a go. My 1st run /walk I was sure would be my last I was so out of breath but learning how to breathe correctly I stuck at it and eventually even started to enjoy it. I persevered and did my first 5K and then took part in my 1st parkrun with my family cheering me on I felt so proud of myself. Even my DH used to say “ I never thought I’d hear the day you said I’m going for a run “

So the motto is never say never if I can do it anyone can and it makes you feel so good about yourself.

I did a C25K beginners course with a local womans running group last year. They were so supportive and I've made some good friends through the group.

Having never so much as run for the bus in the last twenty years. I completed a 5k park run (along with my 12 year old daughter) just before my 41st birthday 😊
