Getting Excited

Hi MrsCupcake, and thanks for sharing your experience Elodie. Just thought I'd join in here to say we're booked for 19th-22nd Dec at Newport Bay. I booked back in January on 25% off and free half board offer - 2 adults, 1 teen (so adult price) and 1 child for around 1200 after cashback, now waiting for Eurostar to be released for our dates. I'm so excited to be there for Christmas decorations and parades, and it's good to know it may not be mad busy on our days. This is also a Disney fix for us between Florida trips, we went in 2015 and 2017 but now waiting for 2021. We have only been once to DLP, back in Feb 2014.

We booked for 27th-30th December and am thinking we made a mistake! Mind you we dont finish work until Xmas eve and wanted to be at home for Xmas day this year so Boxing Day was the earliest we could have flown out anyway. I guess we will just have to make the most of it and its better than sitting at home watching rubbish Xmas telly!

Ive booked for the 8th for 4 nights. Been at this time before so its not busy & it feels so lovely knowing that when we get home its less than 2 weeks till Christmas.

We got a bargain too with half board plus. Im going with my daughter & sharing a room with my sister & her daughter & the price is less than 400 each!

We went last year 9th - 13th Dec, mon-Fri the crowds weren't too bad the beginning of the week but picked up a little from Thursday. We never queued for much in magic kingdom it was only really the studios that had the queues on the rides you can't fast pass. The theming was lovely, much better then the last time we went at Christmas five years before. Lots of characters in their festive get ups. The Christmas market in Disney village is small but worth a look. We stayed in Newport bay so can't help with the hotel but all in all it was a lovely time. Also we never found it that cold. We were well prepared with thermals and never used them once.

Me and my Wife are hoping to go for our first time this year. Never been Paris, but been Florida twice. We are thinking of going Christmas time as we think it would make it extra special. Would you think middle of November would be much less busy than say anytime in December? Also where do you find the option for the Christmas themed rooms?

When we did it, the Christmas room option wasnt released until August. Im not sure if thats still the same though. Wed booked direct, so we just called and asked to upgrade our booking to a Christmas room, and paid over the phone.
