On the DLParisdirect website it included the ferry which was why I think they were cheapest, but as Ive now read mixed reviews with them, I think I might just book direct - thank you so much x
No worries. I looked at the Spanish and Belgian too. Spanish was more, Belgian the same as the French one. X

I work off a maximum of 500pp based on four nights, and including flights (I live in the North West). Ive always found the two nights free offer the best but this time weve got a 30% off deal because we booked quite late.

Its always annoyed me too that we pay for tickets for every day but then dont get to use them fully so I think youve got a good idea staying off site the last night. 👍

So I took the plunge and booked today for 21/8-24/8!

1242.17 total for 2 adults and 2 boys (ages 12 & 15) - thats for an overnight stay in Dover, ferry crossings, 2 night package at Hotel Cheyenne inc 3 day park tickets and then one night offsite at B&B hotel Torcy with breakfast.

A bit extravagant as a pre-cruise add on, but definitely the cheapest way I could find to book this late in the day!👍

I think thats a pretty fair price for four adults (ie age 12+) at the Cheyenne for three days including travel.

We havent booked since last year, when it cost us 650 for five days - BUT both of my children were under 12 and we had an under 12s go free offer. And we stayed in Santa Fe, which was a fair bit cheaper than Cheyenne. Plus we also got ?% off which only applied to 4 and 5 day stays, I think. And finally we paid for the tunnel with Tesco Clubcard vouchers, so didnt need to pay for travel, other than petrol and tolls. Wed probably have had to double that price if wed had older children, had to pay for travel, stayed in a higher priced hotel and been tied to a shorter stay which would bring up the total cost, so I think youve done ok there.
