It was how she viewed his hair and she was making a joke to other people, brand was the main one who reported it. Carol joke was wrong and she was dropped from the bbc for a private conversation so by the same logic so brand should be dropped as well.

Well I think the fun police are excelling themselves once again. It's a throwaway joke taken way out of context. Comedy is often cruel, that's what makes it funny, all this analysis and over-dramatic pearl clutching is ridiculous.

No I’m not defending thatcher, but one was a private conversion overheard, the other was broadcast on a national radio station that is publicly owned and impartial. Both are wrong and deserve the same punishment.
